David Jaffe - writer/director
Writer/Director David Jaffe uses narrative cinema to explore raw themes of control, anger, and self-healing in blistering, cinematic confrontations. Balanced by immersive visuals and wry humor, his searing characters’ perspectives are rendered in a sharp, near-indelible voice. David works to promote diversity, inclusion, and introspection through film with timely, consequential stories packaged in an engaging, zealous style.
As an experienced narrative and commercial Storyboard Artist and Production Designer, David applies a dexterous, hands-on approach to dynamically cover scenes in compelling spaces. His directorial efforts have screened in The Big Apple Film Festival and The Americas Film Festival of New York, while his Production Design work has appeared in Tribeca, Atlanta, LES, Bushwick, and Woods Hole Film Festivals.
David’s writing has placed in competitions like PAGE International, Final Draft – Big Break, BlueCat, and Outstanding Screenplays.
